242. Matched Pair

Mama kept leaving these two babies on my deck for hours at a time….they really kept an eye on each other and were thrilled to have mama come back each time. I am thinking she is trying to wean them…they can fly, but not very far. Aren’t they the cutest?

The space under their beaks looks like a heart shape almost! I have never seen birds sit like that.
