192. Lunchtime

Like I said earlier, it was sizzling hot at the zoo and most of the animals felt it!  Most everything outside was sound asleep, except this polar bear who barely cracked his eyes open to ask if it was Lunchtime yet?

  1. He looks like he’s enjoying a good stretch.

  2. Nice one — but it looks like he’s looking for ice to me, not food!

  3. … or he is looking for some ice to eat, icecream for example!

  4. Hi Tammy,
Sounds like you’ve been busy. I really feel for animals in the summer when it gets so hot. All that fur must be miserable. Have a great day!

  5. Where is my Mint Julep is the question I hear!

  6. You think they could give it a slab of ice to lay on. Having a polar bear in 100 degree temperatures isn’t right! Though in a 100 years it will probably be that temperature in their native land. 😦

  7. He looks very comfortable and just a little sleepy.

  8. I feel sorry for him in the heat 😦

  9. Oh poor baby in the heat!
This is a fantastic shot Tammy, and he does look sleepy.

  10. He’s got the right idea keeping his belly next to the cold stone.

  11. looks like nap time after his swim

  12. Fantastic shot, let’s hope it gets a little bit cooler for him soon. Maybe he should ask for an air conditioned cave…

  13. This is awesome! Do you mind if I forward the link to a friend of mine who loves polar bears?
